METROPOLITAN GIRL'S LEAGUE

Welcome to the Metropolitan Girl's League (MGL). The league was set up in 2011 and today we are the biggest girl's football league in the country.

We cater for over 8,000 children playing for over 300 Teams in Divisions from Under 8s to Under 18s in the league.

Our Academy compete each year in the Viking Cup, the Under 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s & 16s SFAI Inter-Leagues, the Under 14s SFAI Gaynor Cup, the Under 19s FAI Inter-League and Angela Hearst Interleague Competitions as well as hosting other Academies and International Clubs / Teams for Games

Since 2011, over 100 Underage International players and 20 Senior Internationals have come through our Academy.

Our mission in the MGL is to cater for all age groups and to provide a Pathway to players to Representative Football as well as to implement the FAI Player Development Plan.
